Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort’s defenses and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information. Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry finds himself more and more drawn to Ginny, but so is Dean Thomas. And Lavender Brown has decided that Ron is the one for her, only she hadn’t counted on Romilda Vane’s chocolates! And then there’s Hermione, simpering with jealously but determined not to show her feelings. As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again.

When Van Wilder (Jonathan Bennett) enrolled in Coolidge College, he had no idea that following in his wealthy father’s footsteps would be such a formidable task; the uptight dean has official banned partying on campus, and the student body is too busy studying to fight back. When Van Wilder discovers that every female student on campus has taken a vow of chastity, he declares that no cheerleader will go untouched, and no keg of brew will be left untapped. But freeing Coolidge College from the oppressive shackles of party persecution and sexual malaise won’t be easy, and in order to accomplish his mission Van Wilder will have to put his studies on pause, and unleash some serious mischief

Tormented

Classrooms and cafeterias, school ties and pool parties, teenage lives full of promise – all get a terrifying makeover as the best days of your lives become your worst nightmare.

Justine Fielding (TUPPENCE MIDDLETON) is the gorgeous head girl of her plush suburban grammar school, Fairview High. She has just won a place at Oxford University when In-Crowd hunk Alexis (DIMITRI LEONIDAS) asks her out on a date.

All seems perfect…. except that Alexis and his circle of friends aren’t quite as good as they look. Led by tormentor-in-chief Bradley (ALEX PETTYFER), the clique’s ‘too cool for school’ veneer hides a pack of inventive and merciless bullies who find it vastly amusing to persistently tease anyone they consider a worthless loser.

Their main target Darren Mullett (CALVIN DEAN) knows what his classmates did last summer. They bullied him to death. The overweight, asthmatic nerd was so relentlessly victimized by their cruel taunts, website intimidation and ‘happy slapping’ mobile phone recordings he committed suicide.

But being dead allows Darren to finally find the courage to stand up for himself. With nothing left to lose, he takes murderous revenge on his former classmates in increasingly brutal, bloody and imaginative ways. And the In-Crowd soon discover, to their horror, that there is little point reasoning with a very pissed off zombie ghost .

Soul Power

In 1974, the most celebrated American R&B acts of the time came together with the most renowned musical groups in Africa for a 12-hour, three-night long concert held in Kinshasa, Zaire. The dream-child of Hugh Masekela and Stewart Levine, this music festival became a reality when they convinced boxing promoter Don King to combine the event with “The Rumble in the Jungle,” the epic fight between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman, previously chronicled in the Academy Award-winning documentary WHEN WE WERE KINGS.

SOUL POWER is a verité documentary about this legendary music festival (dubbed “Zaire ‘74”), and it depicts the experiences and performances of such musical luminaries as James Brown, BB King, Bill Withers, Celia Cruz, among a host of others. At the peak of their talents and the height of their careers, these artists were inspired by this return to their African roots, as well as the enthusiasm of the Zairian audience, to give the performances of their lives. The concert has achieved mythological significance as the definitive Africa(n)-American musical event of the 20th Century.

SOUL POWER is crafted from the extensive “outtakes” that remained after making WHEN WE WERE KINGS, which documented the epic title fight, but relegated the music festival to a small, supporting role. The “outtakes” have remained vaulted for the past 34 years, until now. Lensed primarily by celebrated cinematographers Albert Maysles, Paul Goldsmith, Kevin Keating and Roderick Young, SOUL POWER finally provides today’s audience the opportunity to experience this historic musical event in all of its magnificent, filmed glory.
